Our multidisciplinary team works in collaboration with loved ones and medical professionals from referral through to admission. We work closely with carers, medical professionals, mental health professionals and social workers. Our aim is to provide exceptional care whilst making sure the people receiving it feel supported and understood.

When a person has been admitted, we get to work and the journey really begins. It’s a fundamental part of our approach to spend time with each resident, getting to know them and building a positive relationship.

When we understand their likes and needs we can use that information to help build their life at Cherrybrook. Feeling at home comes from knowing you’re safe, respected and listened to.

Mental
Health Care

Mental health care is multi-layered, influencing behaviour, perception and cognition. It includes emotional, social, psychological and over all wellbeing. Our care is delivered by a highly trained healthcare team and registered nurses. They take time to fully understand every aspect of an individual’s health, putting in support strategies accordingly.

Our holistic approach prioritises full-body wellness, with emotional, social and physical elements considered alongside medical support to ensure residents are as content and healthy as they can be.

Nursing Care

We offer permanent residence for people with a range of physical health needs that mean they require round the clock support from a team of healthcare professionals and medical nurses.

We have registered nurses in the home 24 hours a day, supported by highly trained and experienced carers. These teams provide nursing care for adults who need constant monitoring and support, but do not require hospitalisation.

As with all of our care, our nursing care is delivered based on the individual needs of each resident.  Working collaboratively with external healthcare and medical professionals, we create a personal care plan for each service-user.  Our priority is the comfort, happiness and wellbeing of our residents whether they are with us on a short- or long-term basis.

Specialist
Dementia Care

We provide exceptional specialist care for adults living with dementia. We understand the complexities of the many different subtypes of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia and mixed dementia.

Cherrybrook is well-equipped to support our residents as their symptoms worsen, helping them to feel safe and well cared for at all times.  We also offer support to families through what can be a very emotional and difficult time.

Side By side

We understand that for relatives this journey can be challenging which is why we are here for you too. We are here to listen, to talk and to support you, to welcome you into the home and to be there for you.
