At Cherrybrook Care Home we are dedicated to the standards of care we provide to all of our service users. We care for adults with varying, complex health needs from dementia, to complex mental health, people who require 24-hour nursing care due to illnesses and support for adults going through rehabilitation amongst others.

For every service-user it all starts with creating their own, personal-care plan. Everyone’s needs are different which is why it is essential to care in this way. We work collaboratively with the individual, their GP and any other healthcare professionals such as social workers, their family and of course the person to assess and develop the plan prior to admission.

We recommend where within the home they would be best to live based on their needs, look at the level of care they need to ensure they are supported and well-cared for whilst retaining as much independence as they can.

Once someone moves in, the journey really begins as we take the time to get to know someone, to understand their life, their likes and dislikes and how we can offer the right care and support to ensure they feel happy and safe. We have a philosophy of forging meaningful connections with residents to support them through the challenges of living with such complex conditions.

It is important to all at Cherrybrook that this building truly becomes a home. One that is comfortable and safe while being a fulfilling place for our residents to live.

Activities and choices are available to ensure social interaction, mental and physical stimulation are encouraged. Movement, dancing, singing all contribute towards the overall wellbeing and therefore calm, and happiness of people which is why we offer choice and variety for people to get involved with, if they wish.
