Life at Cherrybrook Care Home

Cherrybrook Care Home is a thoughtfully designed, modern care community set across two purpose-built buildings on a shared site. Our 120-bedded home combines high-quality care with comfortable, beautifully finished surroundings, offering tailored support for adults with a wide range of health needs—including complex dementia, acquired brain injuries, and mental health conditions. Each of our spaces has been created with both comfort and care at its heart, to ensure residents feel truly at home.

Cherrybrook’s larger unit spans three spacious floors, home to 92 modern, en-suite bedrooms, welcoming lounges, dining rooms, a hair and beauty salon, and secure garden areas. Designed for adults with complex mental health needs and dementia, this building also includes clinical air-conditioned medication rooms on every floor, nurse stations, and the latest in Medi-care technology to log every element of care—from medication and nutritional intake to wellbeing support. A particular highlight is the Cherrybrook Express, an interactive train experience that offers a meaningful and engaging environment for people living with dementia.

Our smaller unit, Cherrybrook House, is a 28-bed setting with a strong community feel. With a large lounge, pool table, bistro-style social spaces, and themed murals that reflect familiar local settings, Cherrybrook House supports residents through rehabilitation, early-stage dementia, spinal or brain injuries, and other complex conditions. This intimate environment allows us to deliver person-centred care while promoting independence and creating a warm, close-knit atmosphere.

En-Suite Bedrooms

Each of our bedrooms at Cherrybrook is designed to offer both comfort and privacy, creating a calm space that residents can truly make their own. All rooms are fully furnished, with en-suite facilities, soft furnishings and plenty of natural light. We encourage residents to bring personal touches such as photos, ornaments or small pieces of furniture to help them feel at home from day one. Whether someone is with us for a short stay or long-term care, their room is a peaceful retreat where they can relax and feel safe, with support always close by.
